Provence Green Earth is a soft, muted, dusty olive-sage green with gentle gray and warm undertones. It is semi-transparent with a soft, matte, non-glossy finish.
Provence Green Earth belongs to the ancient family of green earths (terre verte), which have been utilized by artists since classical Roman antiquity and famously championed during the Renaissance for the verdaccio flesh-shadow technique.
